Systems Analysis and Design, First lesson (Waterfall Model)

Today’s first lesson with Systems Analysis we took a look at the Waterfall model. This is basically a sequential design process, which is often used in software development processes. It’s a fairly basic process model, and is relatively easy to understand, considering that there are 5 main processes which need to be met to enable the waterfall model to be successful. Waterfall Model (Processes)

Graphics Software

Graphics Editors              In today’s lesson we determined the difference between Bitmap and Vector Images.  And basically Bitmap images are a type of computer file which is used to store pictures; these pictures are made up of loads of tiny blocks which are called Pixels. And a vector image is basically I a solid colour, it’s all one image. This means it’s not an image made up of pixels. Also the resolution is a massive difference, vectors are resolution independent, so the image could be re-sized to any size and without the blockiness you’d get if you were to try and stretch a bitmap image too much.
